OBENG-MANU LAW FIRM is one of the oldest and most prominent Law Firms in Ghana, having been established in the year 1986 as Obeng-Manu & Co by one of Ghana’s finest legal brains, the late Obeng-Manu Esquire. In the year 2004, the name was changed from Obeng-Manu & Co to Obeng-Manu Law Firm.
Unlike most Law Firms in the Country which have folded up upon the death of the founders, Obeng-Manu Law Firm has shined and progressed under the leadership of the late Obeng-Manu Junior Esquire, who took over the leadership of the Firm upon the death of the founder until he was appointed a Justice of the Court of Appeal, Ghana, in the year 2019. The Firm has survived and progressed after the appointment of Obeng-Manu Junior as a Justice of the Court of Appeal, Ghana in the year 2019 and his demise in the year 2021 due to appropriate structures that had been put in place to guarantee continuity, the essential part of which is the number and quality of Lawyers who practice from the Firm.
